What is fluxiom?

fluxiom is a web-based digital asset management tool. It provides an easy and elegant way for small to medium sized teams to manage digital assets and share them with clients, partners and co-workers.

fluxiom allows you to store and tag all kinds of documents and files (PDF, Word, presentations, images, EPS, Photoshop) in a fast and user friendly way.
Pack up a bunch of files in an archive (.zip file) and upload them all at once. fluxiom does the rest.
Supports metadata search: author, resolution, dpi, color profiles, color mode and more. If you type “gray”, all grayscale images will appear.
Full text search: Fast search inside documents like PDF, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and others.

What do I need?

All you need is an internet connection and a modern web browser with JavaScript turned on. fluxiom supports Firefox 2 or later on Mac, PC, Linux, Safari 2 on Mac and Internet Explorer 6 or later on the PC.

What does “fluxiom account owner” mean?

The account holder is the person who originally signed up for the fluxiom account. The fluxiom account holder can not be deleted or deactivated. The account holder is the only person who can change credit card settings, switch your current plan or cancel the account.

Can I cancel my account at any time?

Because fluxiom doesn’t have long term contracts, you are free to cancel your account at any time. Just login to your fluxiom account and scroll down to the "Account Cancellation" section. Click on the link "Delete this account" and follow the instructions. (Without exception, no other form of termination is possible, in particular notification of termination by e-mail.)

You can cancel the service at any time and you won't be charged again, but you are responsible for any charges already incurred. Note: Your Account and all data will be deleted immediately and permanently (there is no undo).

Do you provide phone support?

We provide unlimited support via email for our paying customers, but we don't provide support over the phone. We do our best to respond to every email within just a few hours of receiving it. We do not outsource our support.

Which file formats are supported?

Basically, you can load any file into fluxiom. For images (both raster and vectorized) there's special support for creating thumbnails and previews. This also includes PDF documents. fluxiom fully supports more than 100 image formats in B/W, grayscale, RGB and CMYK color formats, including EPS and Photoshop PSD files. Plus, it correctly handles color profiles so your thumbnails and previews will look as they should on screen. In the Pro and Deluxe plans you can easily search inside documents like PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Does fluxiom support RAW formats?

Yes. fluxiom can create thumbnails and previews of most camera RAW formats (e.g. Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Sony and so on).

What metadata support does fluxiom have?

fluxiom supports most IPTC and EXIF metadata plus information about audio and video content. Support for Adobe's XMP metadata is planned but is not included in the intital release.

Security

Our high specification servers are hosted in a state-of-the-art data center and are connected directly to the Vienna Internet Exchange and InterXion.

Can our IT department or ISP host fluxiom?

fluxiom is a web-based, hosted service. Third-party servers cannot host fluxiom. fluxiom is not available for purchase to install on your own servers.
